Property from the Estate of Florence (1917-2018) and Judge David Edelstein (1910-2000). In 1951, President Truman appointed Edelstein Judge of the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York and he served as chief judge from 1971 to 1980. He was the longest serving judge appointed by Truman, Edelstein assumed senior status in 1994.
