Published by Valentine & Anderson, Ltd. in Edinburgh, Scotland. Uncommon title with Charles Elmer's Jenny's scarce autograph. (inscribed later to Mary Colovi by her teacher, Miss Eleanor Barrus).
Author Charles Elmer Jenney, a naturalist and poet, contributed to many publications and wrote many books-- he lived in Fresno, CA for 30 years; his obituary appeared in the San Francisco "Bulletin" on April 9, 1919.
BOOK COVERED in TARTAN CLOTH-- a lovely miniature, 2.5"x3.25", generously detailed with many photo illustrations & poems to the 'wonderous' beauty of California's landscape. Some loose pages, fraying of cloth-covered boards.
