Description: Louis Paul Dessar (American, 1867 - 1952) Sheep Park at Night, oil on canvas. Signed lower left, name plate central. Dessar's work was exhibited at the Salon, where he won a silver medal in 1891, as well as the Metropolitan Museum of Art. This work has also been exhibited at Art Institute of Chicago, 1898-1899, Cincinnati Museum Association, 1899, Carnegie Institute, Pittsburgh, 1899, Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Art, 1899.
