This lot offers two similar terracotta Hu form jars with high base ending in a shallow foot, edged shoulders, and flared rims. Both are showing remains of the original red and white pigment in both geometric and swirling designs. Han Dynasty (206 BCE - 220 CE). Purchased at Anthony J. Allen's Antiques, NZ, 2006.
